F.A.Q.

+ How Many Photos do I Get?

Typically it’s 30-60 retouched images an hour. Mainly the photos that get taken out are any photos that are completely technically wrong for any reason, blinking or “in-between faces”. I prefer to give you quality over quantity.

+ How long will I need to wait to get my images?

Typically it’s a 1-2 week turn-around time for engagement sessions and any other photo sessions. For an entire wedding it’s a 6-8 week turn-around time for your digital files. You will receive 10-12 images within 24hrs of your wedding shoot. You get full resolution images as well as copyright so you can print as large and as many times as you like. Prints can also be purchased through us, and albums are ordered as soon as they are finished and selected. Delivery times depend on the printing company.

+ How many hours of coverage are suggested for a wedding?

For a wedding, 10 hours is suggested. Between detail photos, candid portraits, ceremony, family, bride and groom photos, reception details, and the reception itself, 10 hours seems to be the best amount of time to get the full coverage of the day.

+ Do I need an engagement session?

Yes! All wedding packages include a complimentary engagement session so we can get to know each other before your big day. An engagement session is a great way to get beautiful photos for such things as invitations, save the dates, sign-in board, social media announcements, and photos for montages. On our end, it helps us see what your best angles are and get familiar with the style of photography you enjoy the most. I recommend 3 hours with 2 looks. One look can be more casual with that beautiful afternoon look, while the second look is a little more dressy with the photo shoot going into the evening.

+ Do I need a second photographer?

A second photographer is recommended. Although I pride myself on being very attentive, a second photographer gives you that amazing candid second angle. It’s also highly recommended when you don’t want to see each other before the ceremony, so both the bride and groom get plenty of coverage

+ How does payment work?

Wedding collections require a 30% retainer fee to book your date, once retainers are paid and the contract is signed, you're booked! Maryland sales tax, 6%, is applied to all payments. All other sessions work as follows: 50% is due upon signing the contract. 50% is due the week before of the session. Cash, checks, and most major credit cards are accepted.

+ HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?

When your wedding date is finalized and venue is booked. Weddings can be booked up to 2 years in advance.

+ HOW ARE MY FINAL IMAGES DELIVERED?

Clients receive a link and password to an online gallery downloadable hi-res images.

+ ARE IMAGES EDITED?

Absolutely! I am a firm believer in using my camera to create lovely images but I do touch up exposure and color. All images are edited at my discretion.

+ ARE PRINTS OR ALBUMS INCLUDED?

No. An a la carte menu is available for ordering prints, canvas and albums.

+ DO YOU TRAVEL?

Lets Go! I want to see all of this great planet. Travel is included within 40 miles of BWI Airport, MD. Travel fees may apply to any locations outside of that area.

+ CAN I POST MY PHOTOS TO FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM AND OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA?

Of course! Creation4use retains the copyright to all photos but please feel free to share your photos as delivered with no re-editing or filters with family + friends, don't forget to tag me I love seeing people reactions.

+ WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY? WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE/CANCEL?

All retainer and booking fees are non refundable. In the event of a cancellation for any reason, no monies shall be refunded in order to offset loss of business for time and resources invested. Unfortunately rescheduling your wedding may not be possible due to any previous bookings but please contact me as soon as possible to see how I can help.

+ HOW MUCH TIME IS NEEDED FOR OUR FORMAL PORTRAITS?

At least 1 hour following the ceremony. Some photos can be taken before the ceremony to save on time, like a first look or bridal party shots.
